About the role:
As a Key Worker, you will manage a caseload of individuals (participants) delivering tailored, person centred employability support that builds confidence, motivation and clear pathways into work. This is a varied, people focused role requiring strong engagement skills, adaptability and a genuine passion for supporting people with diverse and complex needs.

Key responsibilities:
Build and manage a caseload through proactive engagement with employers, communities, schools, partners and referral organisations.
• Complete high quality assessments to understand individual aspirations, skills, experiences and barriers.
• Design, deliver and regularly review personalised action plans that support progression and achievement.
• Provide effective one to one and group based support, adapting approaches to meet diverse learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages participation, builds confidence and supports progression.
• Deliver flexible, innovative employability support aligned to local priorities and contractual requirements.
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and adapt support to achieve positive outcomes and KPIs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations, employers and local services.
• Represent Triage at external meetings,partnership forums and events to maintain local networks and opportunities.
• Commit to ongoing professional development and apply best practice in employability delivery.
Required criteria:
• Experience delivering employability, training or support programmes for individuals with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and positively challenge others.
• Experience supporting disadvantaged, care experienced or multi needs individuals.
• Ability to assess progress and adapt support strategies to drive outcomes.
• Strong organisational skills and experience working in a performance or target driven environment.
• Confident using digital tools to support delivery and learner engagement.
• Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and business insurance.
Desirable criteria:
• Training or assessment qualification (e.g. Education & Training, CAVA).
• Knowledge of Awarding Body requirements and standards.
• Experience working in recruitment, publicly funded services or similar sectors.
• Existing local employer or partner networks.
• A proactive, solutions focused approach with a track record of driving positive change.
